The 29-year-old footballer, born in the Democratic Republic of Congo grew up in the lower categories of the Ajax until reaching the first team with which he scored five goals in 35 games. In 2013 he went out to Cambuur-Leeuwarden and then, in 2014, he signed for the PEC Zwolle, a club in which he went down in history for scoring his first goal in European competition. From there he jumped to Bulgaria to play five seasons in the Ludogorets with whom he scored 30 goals in 158 games.

The attacker packed his bags again to go to Turkey and defend the jersey Yeni Malatyaspor before returning to the Netherlands to play for Twente. With what was his last team, he signed for two seasons in June 2021. However, a knee injury in the preseason conditioned him and in February he terminated his relationship with the Dutch. Then the club said that they were “events in his personal life”. His last post on social media was last week when he posted on Instagram that he was working out at the gym on his return from injury.

Lukoki he occupied the attack on the far right although he could also play on the left or as a center forward. He played in the lower categories of Netherlands and later he was international in three games with the absolute selection of Democratic Republic of Congo. His last match was in 2020 against Burkina Faso. His track record includes three league titles in the Netherlands with Ajax, three in Bulgaria and a Cup with Ludogorets.
