The Spanish tennis player Rafa Nadal has confirmed his participation in the Mutua Madrid Open, which will take place from May 1 to 8 at the Caja Mágica in Madrid, as announced by the player himself on his social networks on Tuesday.
“Despite arriving just in preparation and being difficult, I really want to play and play at home since the opportunities are few. To try to do it in the best possible way. See you in Madrid,” he announced on his official account of Twitter.
The Balearic player resigned from playing the Conde de Godó due to a rib injury he suffered in the last Indian Wells Masters 1,000, and had set the Madrid tournament as his possible return to the courts.
