Hong Kong will host the third Rafa Nadal Tennis Center in the world, confirmed this Tuesday the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, which continues its global expansion and has joined the Asian city to a list of places where it is present, such as Spain, Kuwait, Mexico and Greece.

The Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar began its journey in 2016 with an international vocation that has led to its expansion across different continents. The beginning of this growth occurred with the opening of the first academy in Kuwait, where the training methodology was exported and to help “the growth of sport among young people and adults through other types of sports centers,” they explain.

The Rafa Nadal Tennis Center (RNTC), were born focused on the tourism-sports sector, having functions that complemented the centers in Mallorca and Kuwait. They are tennis facilities located in high-class vacation resorts, and, in addition to the next one to be opened in Hong Kong, they are already in the Mexican Caribbean (Costa Mujeres) and on the Halkidiki peninsula (Greece).

As announced by the academy, “this new tennis center was born thanks to the synergy achieved with the Hong Kong Golf & Tennis Academy (HKGTA), a prestigious sports center whose tennis side will be implemented under the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center label”, where they will travel even coaches from Mallorca.

Rafa Nadal was “very excited” with the announcement of the expansion of his brand. “Since the opening of the academy in Mallorca five years ago, we have always found it very interesting to be able to expand our methodology to more countries to reach as many people as possible. For us, having trusted partners is essential and for that I thank the the HKGTA team for their enormous confidence in the project. The facilities are spectacular and we will have great coaches at the head of the Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre. I am convinced that it will be a success and that little by little we can continue to increase our international expansion”, explained the tennis player .

The Hong Kong center will serve to offer “high-quality tennis training that helps promote this sport in the country thanks to the different personalized programs according to the different player profiles”, as the academy tells us, which has a long experience in training and training methodology.

After beginning its journey in Mallorca, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has already reached Kuwait, Mexico, Greece and Hong Kong, where it now seeks to establish itself so that Rafa Nadal’s tennis and personal hallmark continues to grow in the near future.
