Real Madrid qualified on Wednesday for the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey after passing over Real Zaragoza (0-4) in a game without history, resolved to rest, and that allows Zidane's pupils to follow his impeccable trajectory this course based on seriousness and reliability in both areas.

The white team did not save anything except for the discarded Isco and Casemiro, but Zidane wore his best galas at home of the second-ranked Second Division. The risk was evident for a Real Madrid that had much more to lose than its rival, but ended up being quite the opposite. La Romareda's party was a visiting party.

Varane was in charge of turning off the local illusion after five minutes. The French player's goal was the best thing that could happen to Madrid to avoid an unexpected scare or give life to the hands with the passing of the minutes. The 0-1 was also a magnificent combination of Real Madrid that Kroos signed with great assistance.

The German dressed as an architect and curdled an excellent performance because he also delivered the second goal pass. The German-this time-was the best partner of Lucas Vázquez, who hit with his instep and with the soul a ball without an owner from within the area. The second crushed the pupils of Víctor Fernández, who had already warned that the triumph for them was to play this tie.

Before 0-2, Zaragoza woke up with a shot from Kagawa, the most active in the premises, but safety is being one of the top 13 times European champion. Another encounter without fitting and sharp aim before the derby against the neighbor. The night could not be more round for those of Zidane. Everything came out as if it were written in a script written by the merengue technician.

In the second half, Zaragoza created more chances, but neither the presence of Luis Suárez – his goal man – nor White's daring served to beat Areola. Again Kagawa was the one who was closest with a shot from the front that went over the crossbar.

A quarter of an hour to the end, another of the protagonists of the night, Vinicius Junior, achieved his best goal since you saw the white shirt. The young Brazilian made a wall with James Rodriguez and defined with a gesture of quality by stinging the ball with the outside of the foot above the Alvaro Raton. The 0-3 knocked out any possibility for the home.

And to top it off, Zidane handed out minutes to Benzema instead of a Jovic that still doesn't perform as expected. His gunpowder is still wet and his partner, in just seven minutes on the field, marked the room after an assist from Carvajal, another one who can breastfeed after Wednesday's performance.

In this way, a game without history for Real Madrid was closed, which will not be missing on Friday in the quarterfinal draw. The victory not only gives the ticket for the next round, but it consolidates Zidane's style before the visit of Atlético de Madrid, a game of substance that will really measure the impressive state of form of the Real Madrid players.
