Ten Hag named new United manager

The Manchester United has just made official the hiring of Erik Ten Hag as coach of the first team for the next three seasons, until 2025. The Dutch coach will finish the course with his current team, the Ajax Amsterdamand will join the discipline of the ‘red devils’ once all the competitions of the current course have finished.

United’s sporting director, John Murtough, has explained the reasons for the signing:

“During the last four years at Ajax, Erik has proven to be one of the most exciting trainers and successful players in Europe, recognized for the attractive and attacking football of his team and for his commitment to youth”

“In our conversations with Erik prior to this appointment, we were deeply impressed by his long-term vision to get Manchester United back to the level we want to compete at, and his drive and determination to get there.”

We wish Erik the best of luck as he focuses on achieving a successful end to the season at Ajax and we look forward to welcoming him to Manchester United this summer.”
