The RFEN, awaiting a report to decide whether to keep Malaga as the venue for the Spanish Championship

The Royal Spanish Swimming Federation is waiting to receive a technical study to find out the conditions of the INACUA Málaga Sports Center, venue for the next Spanish/CESP Junior Championship -from April 9 to 13-, after this Wednesday the a sheet of one of the roofs of the pool.

The National Federation and the Andalusian Swimming Federation (FAN), as organizers of the event, “regret the situation and the consequences that may arise from the event in relation to the celebration of the aforementioned sporting event.”

“Since last Wednesday we have been in permanent contact with those responsible for the facility (INACUA) and with the authorities of the Malaga City Council,” both federations indicate in a statement, as they are considering the possibility of holding the National Championship in Malaga.

“They inform us that the necessary technical studies are being carried out to assess the possibility or not of holding the Championship as long as all security guarantees are given.
