Valencia added three important points this Wednesday by defeating Villarreal 2-1 in a postponed match of the twenty-fourth day of the Primera Iberdrola and managed to put a good distance above the relegation places.
The Valencian team returned to the path of victory in the tournament after two consecutive defeats and without scoring, although they had to come back in the second half from Francisca Alejandra Lara’s visiting goal. Candela Andújar equalized in the 66th minute and five minutes later Anna Torrodà signed a win that leaves both teams with 24 points, eight ahead of Eibar.
On the other hand, in the other postponed match of the same day, Levante won a resounding victory against Deportivo Alavés Gloriosas, which they defeated 3-0 with goals from Carolina Férez, Paula Tomás Serer and Andrea Sánchez Falcón.
