The Colombian Juventus player Juan Cuadrado declared after the Champions League elimination against Villarreal (0-3, 4-1 aggregate result) that “there are no explanations” for what happened at the Juventus Stadium and that “sometimes football is So”.
“There are no explanations, sometimes football is like that. We had a good first half, but we didn’t know how to take advantage of our chances,” he said as soon as the match ended.

“Then, in the second half, we tried to move the ball more, but they closed well and took advantage of the counterattacks. It’s a shame, but we know that these games can be decided by these episodes,” added the Colombian international.
“I think we did what the coach asked us to do in the second half, try to move the ball to break their defence, but they were very well planted on the pitch. We should have tried to beat them in direct confrontations, as we did in the first half, but we didn’t get it”, valued the player, one of the most active players in the game.
After the elimination, the now black and white winger and captain assured that the team has to focus on Serie A, in which they are in fourth position.
