Salamanca UDS receives Coruxo

Salamanca receives this Sunday at 5:00 p.m. the visit of Coruxo at the Helmántico during its twenty-fifth game in the Second RFEF.

Salamanca UDS reaches the twenty-fifth match with the intention of improving its performance in the tournament after drawing the last match played against Gimnástica Segoviana. Since the competition began, the locals have won six of the 24 games played so far, with a streak of 12 goals for and 20 against.

Regarding the visiting team, Coruxo has just won 3-1 at home at Campo do Vao, with goals from Chiqui, Al Watani and Mateo Míguez against UC Ceares in the last game played, so they intend to maintain their streak of victories at the Salamanca UDS stadium. To date, of the 24 games that the team has played in the Second RFEF, they have won nine of them with a balance of 26 goals for and 21 against.

Focusing on performance as a local team, Salamanca UDS has a balance of three wins, four losses and four draws in 11 games played at home, which provides more opportunities than expected for the visitors, who could have it easier to win. Away from home, Coruxo have won twice and drawn three times in their 12 games played, which means that they will have to make a lot of effort during their visit to the Salamanca UDS stadium if they want to improve these figures.

Likewise, the locals are the ones who have won the most times in their stadium against Coruxo, as they have done so on the last three occasions. The last match between Salamanca and Coruxo in this competition was played in October 2021 and ended in a 0-0 draw.

Analyzing its position in the classification table of the Second RFEF, we see that Coruxo is ahead of the local team with an advantage of nine points. Antonio Calderón’s team is in seventeenth place with 25 points in their locker. For its part, Coruxo has 34 points and is in sixth place in the competition.
