Calahorra stays with the victory against SD Logroñés (2-1)

SD Logroñés failed to beat Calahorra, who won 2-1 during the duel held this Sunday at La Planilla. Calahorra sought to improve their situation in the tournament after suffering a 2-1 loss in the previous duel against Deportivo. On the visiting side, SD Logroñés lost 2-1 in the previous match against Real Unión de Irún. After the score, the Calagurritanian team is ninth, while SD Logroñés is thirteenth after the end of the match.

The first part of the confrontation started in an unbeatable way for the Logroño team, who opened the scoring with a goal from Calderón in the 9th minute, thus ending the first half with a 0-1 scoreline.

In the second half, the team from Calagurrino scored a goal, which put the tables thanks to Tarsi’s goal in the 82nd minute. Álex Arias in injury time, specifically in minute 91, concluding the match with a final result of 2-1.

The coaches made all possible changes. On the part of the local team, Albert Torras, David Soto, Álex Arias, Vicente and Barace jumped from the bench to replace Sarriegi, Cera, Manu Ramírez, Zabaleta and Madrazo, while the changes made by the visiting team were Emilio, Jon Ander, Sandoval, Zarrabeitia and Xiker, who entered through Calderón, Soberón, Cordoba, Álvaro Arnedo and Deiby.

The referee showed SD Logroñés three yellow cards (El Haddadi, Jaime Paredes and Jon Ander). He also showed a red card to the away team, which caused El Haddadi to be sent off (2 yellows). On the contrary, the local team left the match clean of cards.

With these three points, Calahorra was in ninth place with 37 points, while SD Logroñés was in thirteenth place with 33 points at the end of the game.

Calahorra will face Real Unión de Irún on the following day and SD Logroñés will play against Sanse.
