The Aragonese Cluster of Agricultural and Livestock Production Means (CAMPAG) has achieved three innovation projects that will mean a return of 567,703 euros for its associated companies.
These projects have been obtained within the call of the Ministry of Industry endowed with 20 million euros.
The first of them consists of the soil tillage equipment design that have new functions adapted to precision agriculture, such as variable depth. The addition of technology will allow these new functions to be executed correctly. To do this, the tillage process will be simulated with DEM models, reproducing the behavior of the soil and the implement. With the conclusions obtained, several teams will be built that will be tested in different areas of Aragon.
The second project seeks to build a advanced management tool that integrates the information that is currently disaggregated: satellite images, production maps, data from agronomic sensors or irrigation information. It will be used through big data, applying digital twin technology, to easily provide management recommendations, pest warnings and production forecasts to the farmer.
And the third approved project will develop a self-managed digital identity model for agricultural machinery with Blockchain technology to facilitate connectivity between machines The cybersecurity of communications will also be increased and progress will be made towards a digital model in the CE marking process.
These initiatives will be carried out in collaboration with the ANMOPYC, AFM and VITARTIS clusters; the University of Zaragoza, ITAINNOVA and CETEMET as knowledge centers. There will also be ten companies: SIMA, ONA, CISTERNAS AGUDO, WIMBITEK, ARADOS FONTAN, GASCON INTERNATIONAL, AGROINTELLIGENT, 7EDATA, GEOSLAB and PISTACYL.
These projects join the others that the Cluster is already managing, such as COWCOMPOST, APOYAS, COWPET or TWIN TRANSITION with funding of more than 1,700,000 euros.
