Liverpool beat Burnley (0-1) thanks to a goal from Fabinho, on matchday 25 of the Premier League, to continue their chase for the leadership of Manchester City, while Tottenham lengthened their league slump in the third loss in a row .
Jürgen Klopp’s men overcame a cheating duel, at the bottom team’s house, with wind and rain on Turf Moor, with a goal from a Fabinho who scored in the last few games shortly before the break. The locals had forgiven some occasion before seeing themselves below.
The second half was a battle, but Liverpool defended well three points with which they add 54, nine behind City but with one less game. Meanwhile, the fight for fourth place experienced a couple of false steps. The ‘Spurs’ lost 0-2 against the Wolves, giving away the goals at the start.
