Liverpool have loaned central defender Nathaniel Phillips to Bournemouth until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old English defender had seen his appearances reduced this season due to the arrival of Ibrahima Konaté in the summer.

It is the second assignment of Phillips, who renewed this summer with Liverpool, after having been in Stuttgart in the 2019/2020 season.

Bournemouth is one of the candidates for promotion to the Premier League in the Championship and is third, one point behind the direct promotion positions.
