MADRID, 16 One. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Liverpool was placed second in the Premier table this Sunday by beating Brentford (3-0) on matchday 22, the biggest pursuer of the outstanding leader Manchester City.
The ‘red’ team did not fail against a Brentford, new tenant this season in the Premier but with more than one surprise. Before the break, Fabinho opened the scoring at Anfield and Oxlade-Chamberlain and Minamino sealed the easy win for Klopp’s men.
Liverpool passes Chelsea to move into second place, 11 points behind leaders City but with one game in hand. In addition, Leeds enjoyed a difficult season at the expense of West Ham, whom they beat (2-3) away from home, with which the Londoners neglect a much sought-after fourth place in the Champions League.
