MADRID, 13 One. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Real Madrid player Rudy Fernández has tested positive for COVID-19, as reported by the white club this Thursday in a statement.
The 36-year-old Balearic guard will surely miss the next two Real Madrid games. The first of them against Bitci Baskonia, this Friday, belonging to the regular phase of the Euroleague, and the second against Casademont Zaragoza on Sunday, of the Endesa League.
“Real Madrid CF announces that our player Rudy Fernández has tested positive for COVID-19,” said the club this Thursday, which suffered its second positive after that of Tristan Vukcevic announced on January 7.
The whites, who had eleven positives for coronavirus at the end of last year, will be able to recover Rudy depending on the result of the next tests. The Mallorcan could return to merengue discipline for the ‘Clásico’ against Barça on January 23.
