The Vázquez Cultural de Marbella (Málaga), from group IV of the Junior Honor Division, denounced this Friday the “aggressions” suffered in Ceuta both for its players and for the coaching staff in the face of passivity, according to their version, of the referee, as well as that he omitted them in the match report.

The incidents were triggered in the 83rd minute, when the referee whistled a penalty in favor of Vázquez Cultural with 1-0 for the locals and, as reflected in the videos released by the Malaga club, “a manager of them invades the field to attack the referee” and he was “forced to leave the field.”

The note adds that it was “almost impossible” for the referee to leave the field “due to the resistance put up by the local board of directors”Besides, once he was gone, he and his assistants were again “threatened” and again tried to attack them.

“At that very moment, in the field our expedition was being seriously attacked both by local players and by various fans who jumped with the same intention”assured the Marbella team, who condemned the referee’s decision to resume the match, instead of suspending it “after the serious events suffered and, above all, due to the serious adulteration that was going to take place.”

He added that, given the disposition shown by the Vázquez Cultural not to play “the last twelve minutes” in those circumstances, the referee warned them that it would reflect in the minutes that they wanted to “abandon the match, forcing us to continue the game.”

“We want to denounce and repudiate these facts that dirty our sport and, above all, we demand justice on all these serious facts that are inappropriate for a match of the elite of youth soccer” in Spain, the Marbella club stressed in its statement, while the Sporting Atlético de Ceuta He has not offered his version of what happened.
