These are the new public aid that will arrive in 2022

With the entry in 2022, new aid arrives for Spanish citizens, as well as the renewal of other benefits that had already been given. The current economic situation of a large part of the population forces the Administration to take action on the matter, so the Executive has already ensured the launch of certain help lines.

However, the entry into force of these benefits is not yet known for sure, since the Government conditioned the start of most of them to the approval of the General State Budgets. In this sense, these aids would be launched on January 1, 2022, but Moncloa has not yet given news of anything more than some of them.

Voucher for the rental of 250 euros

This is one of the grants that was conditional on the approval of the budgets. Everything indicated that it would be launched on the first day of the year, but there is still no information about it. The requirements to access the benefit are only three:

– The applicant must have between 18 and 35 years old, both included.

– Must be working.

– Can’t have ones income over 23,752 euros yearly.

In addition, when it comes to family units in a situation of greater vulnerability, this voucher may be supplemented with aid of up to 40% of its value.

400 euro cultural voucher

This is an aid that the Government will grant to young people who turn 18 in 2022 and whose objective is to bring this segment of the population closer to the world of culture. In addition, this measure would serve to give a boost to the sector. The requirements to access this benefit are:

– Achieve 18 years in 2022.

– Only 100 euros can go to cultural digital content.

– The rest of the money owes invest in “traditional culture”, such as festivals, cinema, or newspaper and magazine subscriptions.

It should be noted that, according to the Minister of Culture and Sports, Miquel Iceta, this aid will not come into effect until May or June.

Help of 100 euros per month per child

This benefit did come into force on January 1, 2022, as had been announced. It is an aid intended for those families in a situation of social exclusion whose income is not sufficient to provide a decent life for a minor.

Specifically, each family unit will receive 100 euros per month for each child, although this amount will depend on the age of the minor:

100 euros for children from 0 to 3 years old.

70 euros for children from 3 to 6 years old.

40 euros for children from 6 to 18 years old.

In order to collect these amounts, the family must be a beneficiary of the Minimum Living Income. However, those family units that do not receive this benefit will also be entitled to receive it if they have low monthly income:

– Families with one child and two adults, with incomes of up to 27.000 euros.
