The telecommunications company Ahimas has started the new course with the objective of fulfilling its growth plan for the year as soon as possible. Thus, the Spanish group has announced the acquisition of three small local operators, with which it strengthens its services in Spain. This is the operator of the Malaga Rebeloak Axarquia area, Toledo Vinfortel and the city of Vinfortalia. For all this, the group gains positions in the communities of Andalusia and Castilla-La Mancha, offering service in many areas of what is known as emptied Spain.
José Carlos Oya, president of the Ahimas Group, has highlighted the objective of his group to bring the most complete telecommunications solutions to areas with less than 25,000 inhabitants in Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia. With the entry of Vinfortel and Vinfortalia networks, according to Ahimas, “these local operators will increase their telecommunications portfolio, while receiving new levers to continue growing.”
The city operator Vinfortel has its own fiber optic and wireless networks in Ciudad Real and Toledo. To this is added the incorporation of the fiber optic networks of Vinfortalia in the town of Piedrabuena (Ciudad Real), so the new Ahí + Vinfortel can take broadband Internet to more than 9,500 homes and businesses in the provinces of Ciudad Real and Toledo.
There + Vinfortel offers more than 3,600 services between Internet, landline and mobile telephony, in addition to television there + TV or the free telemedicine service There + Health. Jonathan Matas, founder of Vinfortel, will lead the operation. For its part, the incorporation of Rebeloak provides Ahimas with a new business in the Axarquía area (Málaga), with more than 2,500 wireless Internet services, for English-speaking clients.
In Andalusia, the Ahimas Group is also present through other operators, such as Ahí + Blaveo, Ahí + Schedia, Segura Wireless, Ahí + La Janda, Ahí + Wimax Online, Astronetz and Onlycable. Grupo Ahimas offers more than 300,000 telecom services, has almost 400 points of sale and has recently obtained a financing of 68 million euros.
