Paco Jémez, new Ibiza coach

MADRID, 26 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

UD Ibiza announced this Sunday the hiring of Paco Jémez as a new coach, a week after the dismissal of Juan Carlos Carcedo, until the end of this season.

“UD Ibiza announces that Paco Jémez will be the coach of the first team until the end of the 2021-2022 season. The coach has directed Córdoba CF, FC Cartagena, UD Las Palmas, Rayo Vallecano, Granada CF and Cruz Azul de México. In total, they have accumulated 151 games on the bench in the Second Division and 190 games in the First Division, “says the Balearic club.

Jémez was without a team after finishing his second spell at Rayo in the 2019/20 season. “Jémez will be presented this Monday, December 27, at 12:00, in the press room of the Can Misses-Power Electronics stadium,” adds Ibiza.

The Ibizan team is playing its first in professional football this season, after the historic promotion achieved with Carcedo on the bench. After 21 games, Ibiza is five points above relegation, although they have not won in six games.
