Notice to Santander, BBVA, Sabadell, Unicaja and ING clients: these are the commissions to be paid in December

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, with the obvious economic damage to practically all sectors, banking entities have been forced to toughen up some of your conditions as well as to install commissions in order to get higher returns from their products. A policy that has not gone unnoticed by the customers’ pocket and therefore, again this December they will have to face these extras if they do not comply certain conditions.

Pay for the maintenance of an account. This is how entities such as Santander, BBVA or ING having to apply commissions to certain services, in order to build loyalty with their customers who, at certain times, have functionalities that are not profitable for these companies.

Some charges that have increased in the last year and a half, in order to mitigate losses from the coronavirus. In addition, all the introductions of these commissions have in common that they occur because they do not meet certain characteristics such as having a high income or direct debit payrolls.

These are the commissions of Banco Santander

In its main accounts, Banco Santander charges monthly 20 euros for clients who do not have a payroll, a pension of at least 300 euros or an unemployment benefit of at least 600 euros. The charge is also applied to users who use their card less than six times a month or do not have three receipts in the account.

These are BBVA’s commissions

One of the last entities to join the commissions, BBVA charges quarterly 40 euros to clients who do not have a direct debit payroll of at least 800 euros. Those that exceed the direct debit of a pension or benefit of 300 euros can also be released, as well as the seven movements with the credit card must be exceeded for four months or have five direct debit receipts.

These are Sabadell’s commissions

Every three months, Sabadell starts to enter 30 euros of its clients who do not have any income over 600 euros per month domiciled. In addition, operations must also be carried out per year for a value of 1,200 euros or use the card twice a month.

Very similar to Sabadell, Unicaja commissions arrive quarterly with a total value of 30 euros. To get rid of them, it is enough to have a salary, benefit or pension of more than 600 euros and make two movements with the credit or debit card twice a month or move more than 1,200 euros a year in different operations.

Only on the ING Orange Account, clients who enjoy their services with a balance of less than 30,000 euros must face a monthly commission. This is from 10 euros per month and does not involve direct debits or movements with cards to exempt yourself from it.
