Emma Raducanu, champion of the past US Open, has tested positive for covid and will miss the Abu Dhabi exhibition that was going to take place this week.
The British player was going to face Belinda Bencic, Olympic gold in Tokyo, in an exhibition that features Rafael Nadal’s return to the slopes for the first time since August.
“Emma is now isolated and following all the necessary protocols. We wish her a speedy recovery and that we can see her on the track fast, “the exhibition organizers said in a statement.
