José Alberto has highlighted Málaga’s game against Eibar in Ipurua. The coach values very positively the draw and the work of his players against a team that is currently second in the table and that accumulated seven consecutive wins at home.
Happy with the point ?: “I am happy, more than for the result, that I think we could deserve something more for the game, precisely because of that, for the game. We have seen the team compete at a high level. Perhaps it was our best away game. Faced with an opponent as demanding as Eibar, with an impressive squad, we have been, especially in the second half, at a very high level, which is close to what I want to see every Sunday ”.
Malaga continues without winning away from home: “They are circumstances. The team today has done everything to win and playing as we have done today you are much closer to winning than losing. That is my feeling and that is why I am happy with today’s game. We have competed at a high level, which we want to see every Sunday. Obviously, it is a situation that is there, but what I want is regularity and for the team to compete at home and away from home. If we are at this level, victory will come ”.
Penalties: “They are interpretable situations. That of David (Lombán) in the first half I think there is no image in which the penalty can be clearly appreciated. I don’t know, I can’t say anything. I have seen the second one and I think that Edu’s (Exposito) ruling has done justice, because it did not seem like a hand to me. But whistling is very complicated. Those decisions and especially the issue of the hands is crazy. It can not be everything to the interpretation of the referee. There must be a rule that is firm and if it is a hand, it is a hand, and if not, it is not. Today it has hurt us and at another time it can benefit us. As long as it is interpretable, there will be discussion and I believe that the rules are in place so that there is not ”.
