MADRID, 8 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The national women’s handball coach, José Ignacio Prades, was very satisfied after achieving the victory against Japan (28-26) this Wednesday at the Torrevieja Sports Palace (Alicante), to certify his fourth victory in the Handball World Cup, although he made it clear that “no relaxation” despite the plenary session.
A triumph that brings the ‘Guerreras’ closer to the quarterfinals. “We knew that this ‘main round’ would be three real finals with maximum difficulty and it was important to start with good feelings. Now we have two more points in the box and add six, but no relaxation,” said Prades in statements provided by Real Spanish Handball Federation.
“The next match against Croatia can give us a place in the quarterfinals mathematically and that is what we are looking for because we have to continue improving match by match,” added the national coach, who referred to the main condition that defines his group.
“We have not had such brilliant numbers as in previous games but the important thing is that the group has competed well. We have shown a lot of intensity and the game has been taken forward. We will continue competing because this group is hungry and that is the most important thing,” he concluded Prades.
