Cristiano Ronaldo on Thursday surpassed the barrier of 800 goals in his sports career with a double against the Arsenal on Old Trafford, on the fourteenth day of the Premier League.
The Portuguese striker made it 2-1 by sending Marcus Rashford to the net, which is his 800th as a professional, and later converted a penalty committed on Fred to make the 801.
Cristiano Ronaldo made five goals with him Sporting of Portugal, 118 in its first stage with the Manchester United, 450 with Real Madrid, 101 with Juventus, and has 11 in this second adventure with the ‘Red Devils’.
Total, at club level he has 685 goals, to which must be added the 115 that he has done in his international career with Portugal, a figure that places him as the highest historical scorer in national team football
