Calahorra wins 2-0 against Cultural Leonesa and takes all three points

Calahorra added three points to their locker after winning 2-0 against Cultural this Sunday at La Planilla. Calahorra arrived with the intention of reaping a new victory after winning the last two matches of the competition. The most recent was against Extremadura UD at home (0-2) and the other against Tudelano in their fiefdom (3-0). On the visitors’ side, Cultural Leonesa won their last match 2-0 in the tournament against Sanse in their stadium. With this defeat, Cultural Leonesa was in eleventh position at the end of the match, while Calahorra is tenth.

During the first half of the game, none of the players managed to score, so during the first 45 minutes the scoreboard did not move from the initial 0-0.

In the second period came the goal for the local team, which debuted with a goal from David Soto in the 67th minute. The Calagurritan team joined again, increasing the score by means of a goal from Álex Arias in 94, during the extra minutes that the referee decided to add the duel, ending the duel with the result 2-0.

Both coaches made moves on the benches. The Calahorra coach gave entry to Madrazo, Vicente, Álex Arias and Yurrebaso for Barace, David Soto, Manu Ramírez and Martinez, while Cultural Leonesa gave entry to Romano, Riki Mangana, Ketu, Solís and Percan for Pedro Empis, Nahuel Arroyo , Cerrajeria, Gaztañaga and Obolskii.

The referee decided to caution three players. On the part of the locals, the yellow card went to Ugarte and Manu Ramírez and on the part of the Cultural Gaztañaga was admonished.

After winning the match, Calahorra ranked 10th in the league table with 21 points at the end of the match, while Cultural Leonesa ranked 11th with 20 points.

The next day Calahorra will face SD Logroñés, while the Leonese team will play their match against Celta B.
