More than 20,000 runners have already registered for the San Silvestre Vallecana

This Wednesday the deadline opens to get one of the 2,000 numbers for the international test

MADRID, 10 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

More than 20,000 runners have already registered for the next edition of the Nationale-Nederlanden San Silvestre Vallecana, which will be held on December 31 in the capital of Spain and which opens this Wednesday the deadline to achieve one of the 2,000 numbers for the test organizers report.

To be able to run in the elite race, which is held from 8:00 p.m., participants must justify a time of less than 39 minutes for men and 45 minutes for women. The runners of this test will be able to cross the finish line installed inside the Vallecas Stadium.

The tour will be similar to that of 2019 and will feature the t-shirt designed by the graffiti artist Zeta, which has the striking message ‘We return’ printed on his chest on a representation of the streets of Madrid through which the test runs.

As has become customary, the San Silvestre Vallecana will once again collaborate with the Unoentrecienmil Foundation to raise money for the fight against childhood cancer. When purchasing the number, any participant can choose to buy a solidarity number that will be destined for a project that aims to accelerate the recovery of children with leukemia through sports.

In 2020, despite the pandemic, more than 22,000 euros were raised, although the increase in participation in the race this year makes the forecast even higher.
