The Community of Madrid wants to encourage tourism in the region and, therefore, will make available to all Spaniards a tourist voucher of up to 600 euros to enjoy the cultural and tourist offer of the capital.
The president of the Community, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, announced that these new tourist vouchers will be available this month, specifically, from next November 16.
To be able to request the tourist voucher of the Community of Madrid, all you have to do is access the section that the region has made available to citizens on its web portal, or enter at this address.
What does the tourist voucher consist of?
With this bonus is reduced by 50% the consumption of tourist and cultural products and services in the Community of Madrid with this maximum of 600 euros. However, only those services that are contracted directly with the travel and accommodation agencies that participate in the program – which will be known from next November 10 -, that are enjoyed in the region and that include the hiring of a minimum stay of one night.
In addition, with these new tourist vouchers, a discount will also be applied to transport originating in Spain and destined for the Community of Madrid. These trips must also be contracted through the collaborating agencies. Nevertheless, in this case the minimum stay in the region must be two nights.
These reservations must be made at least 10 calendar days in advance of the date on which the services are to be consumed.
Finally, the beneficiaries must make use of this voucher, at most, within 40 days of booking.
Those interested may request the bonus until May 15. However, it is not advisable to wait too long to request it, since the Community has only endowed this initiative with 5 million euros, so if the funds run out before May 15, it will not be accessible either.
