Di Nenno-Garrido and Lijó-Ruiz, men’s final of the Spanish Padel Championship

The couple formed by the Argentine Martín Di Nenno and the Spanish Javier Garrido will play the final of the Spanish Padel Championship, which is being held at the WiZink Center in Madrid, against the duo made up of Pablo Lijó and Javier Ruiz, while Laia Álvarez and Andrea Colinas will fight for the title in the women’s draw against the twins Eunice and Priscila Rodríguez.

Di Nenno and Garrido were the first seed of the tournament to ensure their presence in the final after beating Sergio Alba and Miguel Semmler 6-3 and 6-4. Their rivals for the title will be Pablo Lijó and Javier Ruiz, the revelation couple of the contest, who beat Jorge Nieto and Adrián Allemandi 6-3 and 6-2 in the semifinals.

Neither of the two couples that will play in the final this Sunday gave sets so far this tournament, the most important of the Spanish Paddle Federation (FEP).

For their part, in the women’s team, Laia Álvarez and Andrea Colinas defeated the Lydia Silván-Minerva Huertas couple 6-2 and 6-1 and obtained the pass to the decisive match, in which they will face the twins Eunice and Priscila Rodríguez García, who traced Marta and Aida González by 3-6, 6-3 and 6-4. The women’s final will begin at 10 am and the men’s final will take place next.
