Nico Melamed scores Espanyol’s second goal

Espanyol already beat Cádiz 2-0 at the RCD Stadium. After going to half-time with an advantage by the minimum thanks to a goal from Raúl de Tomás, in the 65th minute it was Nico Melamed who punched the Cádiz goal again.

The Cadiz midfielder, who eight minutes earlier had entered the pitch replacing Loren Morón, made a move down the left wing. After combining with Embarba, he received the ball inside the area, from where he kicked. The ball stumbled into the central Víctor Chust, dislodging goalkeeper Ledesma, and thus signing it 2-0.

It will be necessary to see what Mateu Lahoz puts in the refereeing act, if he gives the goal to Nico Melamed or at Chust’s own goal.
