Aitor Sanz, down for Saturday

First setback for Luis Miguel Ramis, at the gates of the second day: Aitor Sanz will drop for Saturday's game against Sporting de Gijón (and several others), due to a tear in the biceps femoris in his left leg. The captain had to request the change before the Fuenlabrada and his presence before the Asturians is not at all clear.

Already in the final stretch of the preseason, the Madrilenian had to stop and did not participate in the last friendly played in Malaga due to problems in the area. He recovered in time, but in the course of the second half of the match at Fernando Torres he had to be replaced with visible gestures of pain. And after being subjected to some tests this morning, the bad news was confirmed.

Sergio González or Álex Corredera are the candidates to replace him. The former Cádiz was the one who entered for Aitor last Sunday, while the Catalan entered a few minutes later and did so leaving very good feelings with a goal in discount as a letter of introduction.

Whoever plays, he will play to accompany Michel Herrero on the double pivot. The Valencian also had a good debut with the Tenerife shirt and seems like a fixture in Ramis's scheme.

And while this Wednesday morning the blue and white squad returned to training at the Rodriguez Lopez after his rest day, the last signing of the team, Ruben Diez, successfully passed the medical examinations to later join the group.
