The Spanish tennis player Lara Arruabarrena debuted with a resounding victory (6-0, 6-0) over Romanian Evelyne Tiron and qualified for the second round of the WTA 250 in Cluj-Napoca (Romania).
The Gipuzkoan athlete, who occupies position 105 of the world ranking, dominated during the 50 minutes that the match lasted and she only let eight points escape against a rival who lost all her serves and could not break the service of the Spanish.
Arruabarena now expects rival in the round of 16, which will come out this Wednesday of the match between the Romanian Mihaela Buzarnescu and the Bulgarian Viktoria Tomova.
