Eibar sign goalkeeper Ander Cantero

The Eibar Sports Society has reached an agreement to acquire the services of goalkeeper Ander Cantero, who has signed for three seasons until June 2024, as the gunsmith club made official this Sunday on its social networks.

Pending the medical examination tomorrow at IMQ, the club's Official Medical Insurer, the armory entity has agreed its pass with CD Lugo and Villarreal, teams that own the player's rights. Thus, Cantero, a native of Pamplona, ​​the city where he was born in 1995, will become the eleventh signing of SD Eibar and the first for the goalkeeper position.

Trained in the Osasuna quarry, Cantero has played in the lower categories of the Navarrese team, as well as in Zamora, Real Madrid C, Villarreal B, Majadahonda and the last two seasons in CD Lugo.

The Navarrese goalkeeper played 41 games for the Galician team last season, where he received 51 goals, leaving a clean sheet 12 times

Ander Cantero will join the concentration that Eibar will carry out from this Sunday in the Alicante town of La Nucía this Tuesday. In this way, he joins Yoel Rodríguez, who was the only goalkeeper to date in Eibar's first team.
