Real Madrid has known this Wednesday, in the draw for the League calendar that has been held in the Ciudad del Fútbol of Las Rozas, headquarters of the RFEF, the order in which they will receive and visit their 19 rivals next season in LaLiga Santander. Ancelotti's team will open the championship on the weekend of August 14 and 15 against Alavés in Mendizorroza and will close it on May 22 against Betis at the Bernabéu. The first Clásico against Barcelona will be played on October 23 or 24 at the Camp Nou (matchday 10) and the first-round derby against Atlético will be on December 11 or 12 at the Bernabéu (matchday 17). In the second round, the Clásico against the Catalans will be on March 19 or 20 at the Bernabéu (matchday 29) and the Madrid derby on May 7 or 8 at the Wanda Metropolitano (matchday 35).
The white calendar has five weekdays: September 22, 2021, October 27, December 1 (when the participants in the Spanish Super Cup will play the 21st day of the League early), April 20, 2022 and May 11. There will be five national team stoppages that will affect these weekends: September 4 and 5, 2021, October 9 and 10, November 13 and 14, January 29 and 30, 2022 and March 26 and 27. Nor will there be a League on the weekend of January 15 and 16, 2022, in which the Spanish Super Cup is played, nor on April 23 and 24, for the final of the Copa del Rey to be played. The last day before the Christmas break is scheduled for the weekend of December 18 and 19, 2021. After the holidays, the League will resume on Sunday, January 2, 2022, although some matches (determined by geographic proximity of the rivals) will be brought forward to Friday, December 31, New Year's Eve.
