Granada announced the definitive agreement for Pep Boada to become the new sports director to replace Fran Sánchez, who has signed with Real Valladolid. The new head of the sports field in the Nasrid entity was director of ‘scouting’ for 17 years at FC Barcelona to attract the arrival of young talents.
In his almost two decades at Barça, he has played different roles in the club's organization chart, from the first team to La Masia, so his knowledge of the quarry will also contribute to reinforcing Granada's commitment to grassroots football.
Pep Boada will start working on his new duties and will be presented next Monday to the media.
