More than 14,200 registered from 40 countries have participated in the raffle
MADRID, Jan. 14 (SportsFinding) –
The 8,149 has been the cut-off number to select the places for registration for the thirtieth edition of the Quebrantahuesos Gran Fondo cycling tour, which takes place on June 20 on 200 kilometers with departure and finish in Sabiñánigo (Huesca), after the draw held on Tuesday at the LaLiga headquarters in Madrid.
For the Treparriscos Medio Fondo, of 85 kilometers, it has not been necessary to hold the raffle for this event, and all registered runners will have a race number.
This year's draw has received a total of 14,284 requests for Bonebreakers, which for the first time can be followed on the LaLigaSportsTV platform, and 2,458 applications for Treparriscos, from 41 countries. “It is an honor to present the raffle at the LaLiga headquarters and go hand in hand with LaLigaSports,” said Fernando Escartín, president of the Edelweiss Cycling Club, organizer of the 'QH'.
For his part, the director of Institutional Relations of LaLiga, Roberto Bermúdez de Castro, has underlined the bridges laid with the cycling tour. “It is good for both parties to collaborate together. This is a very special event that reinforces us all,” he said.
Likewise, the president of Octagon Spain, Xavier Bartrolí, stressed that the Bonebreaker grows year after year. “It is an event of great importance. Being together with LaLigaSports today allows us to continue driving with enthusiasm the efforts that we all join together,” he said.
Taking into account the cutting number, those who have the numbers between 8,149 and 14,284 and 1 and 1,864 can register for the thirtieth edition of the Great Bottom Bone. Over the next few days, graceful numbers will receive an email with instructions to process the final registration.
Also, the organization has looked for formulas to reward the most faithful participants and those who have not had luck in the previous draws this year will be able to obtain a direct place without the need for a raffle.
These runners include those who have completed fifteen or more editions of the 'QH'; the participants without luck in the draw in the last three editions including this year's; those who did not get lucky last year and signed up for the Treparriscos in the first reallocation; those who suffered an accident in the last edition and are listed as hospitalized; and those who won a race number as a prize for a sponsor promotion.
For those who have not been awarded, the organization offers 'Premium' and 'Training' packages, with a safe place in the test and a specific training plan.
