The U-21 close the qualifying phase with a victory against the Faroe Islands. Great game for De la Fuente's team that unblocked the match in the second half.
Josep Martinez: He was a bit nervous in a couple of outings in which he miscalculated, but he was correct in two interventions in which he avoided the Israeli goal.
Joint. He wore the bracelet and served as such. He is recovering the level that he showed a couple of seasons ago, always join the attack well.
Guillamon. Despite not being a central defender of great stature, he was close to scoring two corner goals with a header in two plays traced to the near post. He was impeccable in the exit of the ball.
Gracious. He hardly had to intervene but, when it was his turn, he showed sobriety in the few actions in which Spain needed him.
Pedrosa. It was not as decisive as against the Faroe Islands, but it was not necessary having Bryan Gil ahead in his band. It was correct.
Moncayola. He played pivot and fulfilled against an opponent who did not demand much of him. He would have just fulfilled it if not because in 89 'he closed the game with a goal from outside the area.
Manu Garcia. It was La Rojita's brain in the first part. The Sporting midfielder moved the team judiciously and always offered to give his teammates a chance. Of more less.
Oscar. It has not been good in this break in general. He lacked continuity in the game. Even so, it always creates set pieces danger.
Handful. The worst of the starting offensive trident. It is also true that Spain overturned the game more for Bryan Gil's band. Beltrán replaced him in the 60th minute.
Roberto López. As in his debut against the Faroe Islands, he played as a center forward, did well and scored again, this time from a penalty. Always on the move and giving a sense of danger. De la Fuente may have found his '9' for the European.
Bryan Gil. He has undoubtedly been the most destabilizing player in the Under-21s in this break. or he was as inspired as he was against the Faroe Islands but even so, he overflowed and created danger whenever he could.
Brahim. He came in for Oscar with half an hour left to play and he couldn't do better. As soon as he left, he caused the penalty that advanced La Rojita. He attended Barrenetxea at 2-0.
Beltran. He played the last half hour. High quality. He makes very little mistakes and almost always gives the team what it needs at that moment.
Barrenetxea. He entered in 74 'for Byan Gil and in 75' he had already scored 2-0. He took advantage of his opportunity in the best possible way, although it is difficult to be on the final list.
Dani Gomez. He played the last quarter of an hour instead of Roberto López, but he could do little.
Manu Sanchez. He took Pedrosa's place for the last ten minutes without a chance to shine.
