11 years have passed since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid

It was certainly a historic moment. On this day, 11 years ago, Real Madrid presented Cristiano Ronaldo in society. The Portuguese star was the most outstanding signing on Florentino Pérez's return to the white club, an incorporation that marked a before and after in the Santiago Bernabéu.

The presentation of CR7, which in its first season had to wear the '9' on the back as Raúl was the bearer of the '7', brought together at the Bernabéu more than 80,000 people and outstanding myths of football history such as Alfredo Di Stefano or Eusebio.

His incorporation, for 97 million euros, caused a furor in the Spanish capital and was the ‘weapon’ with which Madrid wanted to stand up to the dominance of FC Barcelona. Cristiano quickly emerged as the leader of that powerful team, although in his first season he ended without any title to his credit.

Despite the fact that his beginnings in the white club were not entirely successful, everything changed in his last seasons, in which he conquered three consecutive Champions (2016, 2017, 2018) before going to Juventus.

After 9 seasons at Real Madrid, Cristiano won a total of 16 titles: 2 Leagues, 2 Cups, 2 Super Cups, 4 Champions League, 3 European Super Cup and 3 Club World Cup.
