“1,000 million euros have already been delivered to clubs with CVC”

The president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, stressed today that they have reached the thousand million euros of total investment to the clubs of First and Second, that they already use that money “to reform stadiums, sports cities or in technologies”.

Javier Tebas traveled to Malaga this Friday for the presentation of the Malaga Phase of the LaLiga Genuine championship, which is taking place this weekend at La Rosaleda, an experience “that teaches you many values ​​thanks to its players”, and has valued in economic terms the impact of the CVC fund on Spanish football.

“We have already delivered one billion euros to the clubs. We are having weekly controls, we have had meetings with hundreds of people involved” he explained, emphasizing that many teams “They are already investing in reforming the stadium, like the project presented by Villarreal and what Betis is doing”, while other clubs are investing in sports cities or technology.

“We are already investing those 2,000 million to use in the next two years”, he confirmed, after recalling that the condition of the distribution of capital is to do it in the following way: 70% for infrastructure and personnel, 15% for debt and 15% for players.
