Whoever says that he has just got up in the morning has not considered missing work, he lies. Although we have never done so, the fatigue we have when being freshly raised, makes our mind fantasize about some excuse for not having to fulfill our labor obligations.
To risk losing your job for a few hours of rest does not compensate, but there are people who really do not think about that situation and do not care to tell a lie so as not to have to be in their job.
The people behind the Zippia website have wanted to discover to what extent this fact is true and have carried out an analysis to find out which days people need more to work. To carry it out, they have analyzed the traffic of users who have received an article called “Three tips to warn that you are sick (even if you are not really)”. They have done so by comparing the number of users of a day with the number of those of the previous day so that no Google algorithm could affect the positioning of the article and therefore the result.
As a result, Zippia found that 20% of users accessed the article on Mondays of each week, while Fridays were the least popular days. There were also variations if there was a holiday nearby, such as the day after Christmas day that was the one that most people called to say they were sick.
This analysis also resulted in the existence of 3 Mondays of the year in which the number of users increased in an exaggerated way but without any reason. These days were June 24, August 12 and October 21.
