Where to watch the Oscar-nominated films: all the candidates that are already posted on streaming platforms

Many of the candidate films can only be seen in cinemas –poor creatures, for example, premieres this Friday in Spain – but there are other titles that are already available on streaming platforms. Next, we review where you can see the films nominated for the 2024 Oscars that are already in streaming:

  • The Snow Society (Netflix). JA Bayona's film that recreates the tragedy of the Andes is up for two Oscars: best foreign film and also best makeup.
  • Oppenheimer. It is the favorite with 13 nominations, but it has not yet reached any permanent platform. In any case, the film starring Cillian Murphy can be found as a rental or purchase through various subscription services: Movistar+, Apple TV, Rakuten, Prime Video, Filmin y Google Play.
  • Barbie (HBO Max). The 2023 blockbuster has eight nominations, including Ryan Gosling's. Margot Robbie, however, has run out of options.
  • The Moon Killers (Apple TV+). Martin Scorsese's film is up for ten awards, including best director. She left the Golden Globes with a statuette for Lily Gladstone as best drama actress.
  • Maestro (Netflix). The film starring Bradley Cooper has received seven nominations.
  • Past lives (Movistar Plus+). Two nominations, including best film, for this South Korean film.
  • Rustin (Netflix). Colman Domingo is a candidate for best actor for this production that tells the story of Bayard Rustin, a gay African-American who dedicated his life to the search for racial equality.
  • Nyad (Netflix). Annette Bening is a candidate for best leading actress and Jodie Foster has won for her supporting role in this story of self-improvement that tells the adventure of swimmer Diana Nyad, whose dream was to become the first person to swim from the coast of Cuba to the from Florida.
  • Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (Disney+). The latest installment of this saga has achieved a nomination in the best soundtrack section, for John Williams.
