The WTA announces its provisional calendar from 2021 until July

The WTA announced its provisional 2021 calendar until July 11, after offering the first seven weeks of competition a few days ago.

In this way, the women's tour shelves the season from the inaugural tournament in Abu Dhabi to Wimbledon in July. In these first 20 weeks, the first four WTA 1000 events of the year are represented, including the tournaments in Dubai, Miami, the Mutua Madrid Open and the one in Rome.

The current schedule reflects a traditional WTA schedule for most of the season until mid-March, although with some changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Indian Wells will not take place in its regularly scheduled time period in March and will they are evaluating alternatives for a potential date later in the season, “the organization reported.
