The Premier will not let players from high-risk countries go with their national teams

The United Kingdom has enjoyed practically absolute normality of internal borders in terms of coronavirus restrictions for more than a month, but not externally. In the case of the reds, in addition, they would lose their star during two games. “The Premier League clubs have decided reluctantly, but unanimously, not to release players for international matches played in countries on the red list. This decision, which has the firm backing of the competition, will affect 60 players of 19 Premier League clubs that should have traveled to 26 countries on the red list during the September break, ”explained a statement issued during the afternoon.
