The young woman from Seville has become a popular face on Instagram in recent years for making visible the disease she has suffered since 2016, Ewing’s sarcoma. This is a rare type of cancer that forms in the bone or in the soft tissue around it. This year she published the book My desires win. No one has promised us a tomorrow, live in the present.

It is the same disease that suffered Aless Lequiothe son of Ana Obregon y Alessandro Lequio. The presenter, in fact, is one of the many well-known people who has shown her unconditional support: “My fighter, your desire has won this fucking sickness because there is no other way to describe it. It is a brutal war of every second, but it is the only war where there are neither winners nor losers, only heroes and heroines,” Obregón wrote under the video.

The actress, in her response, also recalled the young entrepreneur, who died in May 2020: “And you are my heroine, because as my son you give all of us who love you a lesson in life. In recent months I have had the immense lucky to meet you, you and the angel of your sister Emi, to be by your side, and that you know that I will never let go of your hand. Let’s continue. I love you very much. Fuck cancer”. And she added on her wall: “So many conversations and tears shared. So much helplessness and you’re still there. Because your desire wins, sweetheart.”

Sarah Carbonero, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer three years ago, also maintains a star relationship with the young woman. The journalist’s visits to the hospital and her messages of support for Elena have gone viral. In addition, Sara, who a few days ago was also admitted to a Madrid clinic, interviewed Elena on her Radio Marca program. “I love you very much Elena and I admire you. It always means always. You are an angel,” the presenter wrote.
