The Getafe and the art of making the signings profitable: how much does each team cost its eleven type?

Getafe has once again become the revelation team of LaLiga. Last season it was already, finishing in fifth position, but in this the Bordalás squad has been overcome again in a campaign in which they combine the domestic championship with the Europa League, where they will measure Ajax, semifinalist of the previous edition of the Champions League, for a place in the round of 16.

The most striking of all is that Getafe, currently ranked third in LaLiga with 42 points and three above Atlético or Sevilla, has the thirteenth cheapest type of the entire competition. A symptom that the club in the south of Madrid works well and with clear ideas. The majority of the players of the club azulón already know each other from previous years and have built a block with some identity signs similar to those of the first stage of Simeone in Atlético.

The alignment of Getafe is very recognizable and can almost be pronounced as a runner, except for two players that Bordalás is changing according to the circumstances of the rival. They are the cases of one of the two strikers of the team (Angel or Jorge Molina) and the left side (Nyom started and now Olivera is settling). The rest does not change: Goalkeeper Soria, Damián on the right side, Djené as the right center, Etxeita as the left center replacing Cabrera, who left for Espanyol after paying the clause, Maksimovic and Arambarri in the center of the field, Nyom and Cucurella in the bands and Mata in the front.

All this eleven has cost Getafe 21.5 million euros, with Maksimovic being the most expensive with 10 million. The Serbian midfielder is followed by: Soria (3 million), Nyom (3), Djené (2.5), Arambarri (2.15) and Olivera (0.85). The rest of the blue players have arrived free (Damián, Etxeita, Mata, Molina, Ángel or Jason), and only Cucurella is assigned with a purchase option of 6 'kilos' for the following season.

As expected, Barcelona (361.6 million euros) and Real Madrid (332.5) are the teams with the most expensive types of LaLiga, surpassing Getafe by more than 300 million euros in the cost of their alignment . Atlético (219.4), Valencia (140.5), Seville (99), Betis (80.05), Athletic (67), Villarreal (64.3), Espanyol (51.75), Celtic (48.7 ), Real Sociedad (35.75) and Leganés (21.7) are also ahead of the southern team of the Community of Madrid.
