Elsa Pataky’s golden debut at the Met Gala: with semi-transparencies and a matching Chris Hemsworth

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York has been decked out again to host one of the most anticipated events, if not the most, in the world of fashion. Originality and eccentricity come together for another year with the help of Anna Wintour y Vogue. The dress code of the new edition is based on The Garden of Time, a story of the same name that the English science fiction writer, JG Ballard, published in 1962; and the theme it addresses is ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’, which is also the title of the Costume Institute’s next exhibition.

Elsa Pataky y Chris Hemsworth They were among the first to step onto the New York red carpet. The woman from Madrid and the Australian, who acts as host, have come with two very vibrant matching looks. It was the debut of the Spanish actress at the Met Gala and she passed it with flying colors.

Pataky has chosen for the occasion a gold dress in mesh fabric with semi-transparencies and long sleeves. Below, a nude bodysuit. His look was completed with a crown, a bracelet and matching sandals, while the earth and gold tones of his make-up did the rest. For the hairstyle, he has opted for a braid that falls down one of his sides, in keeping with the theme of the gala and his fantasy and dream outfit.

The father of her three children also shone in a beige suit with a vest and jacket from Tom Ford. The man who plays Thor has unbuttoned a few buttons and showed off his figure and shy smile. They form one of the most established couples on the international scene and, one more night, they have once again demonstrated the complicity they also have in front of the flashes.

Hemsworth is, along with Jennifer López, Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Jonathan Anderson – creative director of the Spanish brand Loewe – and Shou Zi Chew, executive director of the TikTok platform, one of the honorary hosts. Everyone accompanies Anna Wintour, who once again welcomes the stars that shine with their own light on the great night of Vogue. Long live the Met Gala.
