Summer moved with Ilaix

As reported by RAC-1, a busy summer is coming with Ilaix Moriba (18 years old), to whom Barça wants to extend the contract as soon as possible because his commitment to the Barça club ends in June 2022 and, therefore, in just six months he will be free to negotiate with any club. But it doesn't seem easy. Always according to the information from the station, the claims of Ilaix, which recently changed representation agency (the new one is Rogon), are high and Barça cannot access them.

With 100 million euros of termination clause, Ilaix is ​​one of the jewels of the Barça quarry, although the one who has decidedly bet on him has been Ronald Koeman, who has given him the opportunity earlier than expected, so much so that he came to play 18 games last season with the first team (one goal and three assists). That has changed the plans of Barça, which had in mind to extend his contract this summer without the name of Ilaix having already jumped onto the international scene. Monitored by the best clubs in Europe, Ilaix, who will not turn 19 until next January, knows that he has a poster.

Of course, Barça hopes to play the Koeman card, the coach who has put him in that showcase and who guarantees him a certain continuity in this process of renewal of Barça, something that in other clubs in Europe would not be guaranteed. Ilaix has examples of colleagues in La Masia who have left with promises that have not been fulfilled later. The previous renovation of Ilaix was already complex.
