Albacete striker Roman Zozulia has lamented the criticism of Rayo Vallecano's fans, who has accused him of “fascist, Nazi and racist” since his frustrated signing by the Madrid team, and has described the sanction of 18,000 euros as “ridiculous” and the partial closure of the Estadio de Vallecas for two days.

The match between Rayo and Albacete of the 20th day of LaLiga SmartBank was suspended on December 15 after a part of the Vallecas stand gave out “Nazi fucking, Zozulia you are a Nazi“, on the return of the Ukrainian player to Vallecas almost three years after his frustrated signing in the winter market of 2017.

On that occasion, Zozulia was forced to return to Real Betis by being declared “not welcome” by much of the Vallecana fans, accusing him of sympathizing with the Nazi ideology. The player ended up signing in summer for Albacete, with which he returned last December to the Vallecano state.

On February 7, the Appeals Committee of the Royal Spanish Federation of Soccer (RFEF) dismissed the appeal of Rayo Vallecano and confirmed the partial closure of Vallecas Stadium for two days, 29 and 31, and confirmed the fine of 18,000 euros.
