The Majorcan goalkeeper of Real Mallorca Miquel Parera Pizà has requested this Thursday to leave the club, through his private twitter account.
“I only ask that they let me go my way. I have given everything for the club since I was 12 years old, I have given myself to the maximum and we have achieved very nice things together. For all this, I think I deserve to be able to leave with dignity what I consider my home ”, the Manacor player has spread on his social network profile.
Parera, current substitute for Manolo Reina, started the Copa del Rey match against Fuenlabrada in which the Madrid team eliminated the Majorcan players in the penalty shoot-out.
During the match, Parera had an error that cost his team a goal after not rejecting an easy ball yielded by his teammate Fran Gámez. It was 1-2.
However, the error was minimized by Abdón Prats' last tying goal (2-2) that forced extra time and the subsequent penalty shoot-out.
Real Mallorca are scouring the market in search of a new goalkeeper.
