MADRID, 20 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Monaco Grand Prix, one of the most traditional and long-standing events in the Formula 1 World Championship, will continue on the ‘great circus’ calendar until 2025 after renewing its agreement for the next three seasons.

From the organization of the championship, this new contract was signed with the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM), which will allow the streets of Monte Carlo to continue being “an important part of the championship since the first race there in 1950” in a scenario that supposes “a unique challenge for pilots and famous all over the world”.

“I am pleased to confirm that we will compete in Monaco until 2025 and I am excited to return to the streets of this famous Principality for next year’s championship on May 28,” said Stefano Domenicali, president and CEO of Formula 1, on the World Cup website. .

For his part, Michel Boeri, president of the Automobile Club of Monaco, recalled that this agreement comes “after several months of negotiations”, and was “proud” of having finally signed it, warning that “it is likely to be renewed”.
