How much money does Nadal win for winning Roland Garros 2020?

The coronavirus pandemic caused a change in the distribution of the economic prizes of Roland Garros. The French Tennis Federation decided to adjust the amounts to give more money to the players in the qualifying round and those who fell in the first round of the main draw in difficult times. Thus, the check that corresponds to the champion, Rafael Nadal, is 1,600,000 euros, 700,000 less than the previous year.

Novak Djokovic will receive 850,500 euros as a finalist, with a significant reduction also compared to the 1,180,000 that Dominic Thiem received last year. The amount was exactly the same in the case of the winner, Swiatek, and the loser of the final, Kenin, in the women's team. For Pablo Carreño, who reached the quarterfinals, the profit will be 283,500 euros (in 2019 it would have been 415,000).

On the other hand, those who were fired at the first exchange rate, for example Feliciano López, Munar, Andújar, Sara Sorribes and Aliona Bolsava, they were given an amount more than 30% greater than the previous year: 60,000 euros.
